How It all began?
You have probably heard that question before or maybe asked it yourself, but the answer to it will determine if this prone is good for you and the question is … (drumrolls) … Does Size Matters for You ? If the answer is “No, all it matters is what’s inside” then lets continue, but if the size matters for you, then you might want to look for a smaller phone, because the Ulefone Power Armored 13 is many things but small isn’t one of them !
Half a year ago after looking for a new battery for my OnePlus (I love it and I still use it for my banking) an ad about a phone with huge 8k battery popped up. An 8000 milliamp hour battery was almost 3 times bigger than my current phone so I had to look it up and see if it answers those 3 questions : “ Is it any good?”, “Is there anything better?”, “ Can I afford it?” I spent a few days researching and I found a phone with an even bigger battery. The phone was big and heavy but the comments were good. The battery was 13 200 mAh and the company claimed it can last for a week, but the price was way out of my budget. I spent a few days convincing myself that I don’t need it… until my phone updated and the battery started dying at 20% not lasting me even for half a day. So I spent a few days
researching for the place with the best price. In the end I found it almost 100 euro cheaper than the official website I ordered from. After almost 2 weeks I finally got it. The box was big and heavy with a premium feel to it. Inside the box I found pretty much what would you expect – a phone, charger and some manuals. When I saw how big the phone was, I thought to myself “Ok , I’ll keep my card on my OnePlus and this one I’ll use for the games and stuff”… took me a week to make this device my permanent phone but enough with the small talk, let’s take a look inside and see If we can answer the question “Is this the phone for you?“

Do i Think is worth it?
The Rugged phones are designed to be completely sealed within a durable housing to survive in extreme weather and temperatures, accidental damage and rough handling, making them ideal for working outdoors or in harsh environments, along with use during extreme sports such as sailing, rock climbing, etc. Having such a durable phone has some disadvantages such as high price or lower quality of some of the elements such as camera, sound, etc
If you need a big battery that can last for day no matter what you throw at it and don’t care about the size my answer is YES! The performance is one of the best you can find in that class and the price range with benchmark results of 294194(v8)/ 351678 (v9) for AnTuTu , 1610 (v5.1) for GeekBench and GFXBench: 18fps (ES 3.1 onscreen). The screen is big with good quality (1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~386 ppi density) ) and amazing colors. The audio is not very loud and the quality is not the best for music. The camera is good in daylight, but with a lot of noise in lower light when used on auto.
