What was my experience with Sunlu Standart Resin ?
Not long ago I bought my first 3d Resin printer and realized how expensive it can be so finding a good quality but affordable resin was important. I spent a few days researching and I finally chose a brand I wanted to try .
The brand was Sunlu and I ended up ordering a bundle of 6 at half of the original price.
What Printer i use ?
The printer I picked was Elegoo Mars 3 Pro.
The Elegoo Mars 3 Pro is marketed as high-performence resin 3d printer with a lot of features, a really good choice for beginners.
I has high print resolution of 4098 x 2560 and can print at of 0.05 mm. It has 6.6-inch 4K Monochrome LCD with a replaceable anti-scratch tempered glass with 9H hardness for a better light transmittance.
It has a large build volume of 143.43×89.6×175mm (5.647×3.52×6.8 inches) for printing large models and new COB light source with a wavelength of 405nm that allows faster and better printing.
It has an air purifier with a built-in active carbon filter to effectively absorb and filter the resin odor and pungent fumes, giving you a fresh printing experience.
The Elegoo Mars 3 Pro is also very easy to use and I haven’t got any trouble with it so far.
What Settings I use ?
Normally, to get the best settings for your printer, you can print a validation print and from the results fine tune the settings . The validation prints I used are – Resin XP2 Validation Matrix Thickened and Siraya Tech Test Model V5 .

The XP2 Validation Matrix model requires little time to print and uses a small amount of your liquid resin.

Siraya Tech test model V5 is a quick and easy way for the user to determine exposure value for resolution, accuracy, and printability. It is built on previous works from Peopoly, Photonster’s XP2, and many inputs from our talented users.
Both tests were done using the default Elegoo Mars 3 Pro settings :
